Key Responsibilities:
Requirements
1. Degree in Accounting or related field with active CPA
2. Must have 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 3+ years in audit (Big 4 preferred)
3. Experience with NetSuite is preferred
4. Management experience
- Lead end-to-end processes in key technical accounting areas, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), capitalized software, financing transactions, and annual impairment testing. Responsibilities include analysis, documentation, training, and ongoing compliance.
- Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues and operational applications, including areas with significant estimates or judgment, new accounting standards, complex transactions, and business arrangements.
- Prepare and review technical accounting disclosures for SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Support global accounting operations, including journal entry review, technical analysis, and assisting stakeholders with accounting inquiries
- Maintain technical accounting processes, protocols, and SOX controls.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, documentation, and implement new standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Legal, R&D), providing training and guidance as needed.
- Review and mentor junior accounting team members.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external audits related to technical accounting and financial reporting.
- Perform ad hoc tasks or special projects assigned by finance leadership.
