As a Permanent Manager for Women's Services, you will be playing a pivotal role in our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to women of all ages. You will be leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in our Women's Health department, overseeing the delivery of patient care, and ensuring that the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the Women's Services department, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the department, working closely with other department leaders and hospital administration.
3. Monitor patient care, reviewing medical records and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
4. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards of care.
5. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
7. Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in women's health, implementing new practices and technologies as appropriate.
9. Handle any patient complaints or issues, working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
10. Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications:
1. Active RN license in the state of TN or hold a compact state RN license with the intent to obtain a TN license within 30 days of hire.
2. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the care of OB patients and newborns.
3. Previous management, leadership, or house supervision experience required.
4. Current BLS/CPR certification.
5. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field would be a plus.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
10. Passionate about women's health and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
