Job Details
We are currently a dynamic Director of Architecture to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the design and execution of luxury residential projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in architecture, development and/or construction, and be comfortable leading a team of talented architects and designers. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to work on some of the most prestigious residential projects in the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the architectural team, ensuring high-quality design, timely completion of projects, mentorship of newer tenure team members and the overall success of the office.
2. Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that projects meet client expectations and adhere to established budgets and timelines.
4. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
5. Report to Owner/Principal of firm any issues, areas of improvement or specifics as to production or success for the team.
6. Mentor and guide junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in residential architecture, incorporating them into designs as appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction or a Related Field.
2. A minimum of 10 years' of Experience in the AEC industries and at least 2+years' in a Leadership Position
3. Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading successful teams.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, techniques, and software (such as AutoCAD).
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome project challenges.
