We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax & Audit Advisory Managing Director to join our Public Accounting Business Solutions Group. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to our diverse portfolio of clients, while also playing a key role in the growth and development of our team.
Responsibilities:
As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing expert tax advisory services to our clients, including corporate, international, and business tax planning.
2. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns ensuring the highest level of accuracy and compliance.
3. Leading and managing our tax and audit team, providing training, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
4. Driving business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities for growth and client acquisition.
5. Representing clients in tax disputes and negotiations, leveraging your deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client services.
7. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring our team and our clients are always ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Tax & Audit Advisory Managing Director role will have:
1. An active CPA License.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on tax planning and advisory services.
3. At least 2+ years of experience representing clients in tax disputes and negotiations.
4. Proven experience in business development within the accounting and finance industry.
5. Strong leadership skills, with experience in a supervisory role.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
7. A deep understanding of corporate, international, and business tax laws and regulations.
8. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
