Primary Responsibilities
Create a culture in line with the Firm’s Mission, Vision, Values and Beliefs and Behaviors. See the Firms Mission, Vision and Values statement.
Lead and mentor the firm’s attorneys and staff, providing coaching, guidance and support to help them reach their full potential and operate as a high performing team.
Oversee all aspects of the firm’s operations, including business development, financial management, staff supervision, and client relations.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the firm.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Manage the office’s financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and expense management.
Identify and purse new business opportunities.
Represent the firm in industry associations, conferences, and other events.
Stay up to date on legal and industry developments, ensuring the firm is positioned to adapt to changes and opportunities.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff and other stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Required Education And Experience
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Deep understanding of the legal industry, including emerging trends and challenges.
Active member in good standing of the Bar or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in South Dakota.
Strong work ethic, drive, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Preferred Experience
5-7+ years of experience in a leadership role in a law firm, with a proven track record of success.
Excellent academic and professional credentials.
