Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our product portfolio. You will play a crucial role in defining product strategies, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Product and Strategy Design
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, vendors, sales, and marketing, to oversee the success of a product throughout its life cycle.
Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the overall business strategy.
Lead the planning, execution, and launch of new feature or products updates, ensuring they meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and exceed customer expectations.
Collect new requirements and communicate with vendors and provide feedback on new features or products to make sure it aligns with our company strategy, this includes detailed specification, use cases, and any necessary technical documentation. Clear and precise communication helps vendors understand the desired outcome and reduces the chances of misinterpretation.
2. Product Launch and Marketing:
Lead the planning, execution, and launch of new feature or products updates, ensuring they meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with marketing and finance team to develop effective product positioning, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Develop and implement product training programs for internal and external teams, such as sales, customer support, and implementation.
Develop product collateral, training materials, documentation, and resources to enable effective understanding and usage of the product by internal teams.
Assist in product launches, including coordinating internal and external sales team, organizing product demos, and driving user adoption.
Support the sales team in creating compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of our products.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive sales success.
Provide technical consultation and guidance to customers and sales team, helping them understand the features, implementation and integration of our products or services to support the sales process.
3. Product Maintenance
Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement or new feature opportunities.
Communicate regularly with vendors to discuss product updates, technical specifications, pricing, and contractual agreements.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of components or services, resolve any issues or challenges, and negotiate favorable terms.
Conduct product testing and quality assurance to ensure products meet the defined requirements and standards.
Regularly report on product performance to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the technology industry.
Strong understanding of product management principles and practices, including product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive product decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in product training, sales collaboration, and vendor management is preferred.
Bi-lingual (English & Mandarin) is a plus.
