Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation regulations
  • Oversee safety initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring consistent compliance and performance
  • Ensure environmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including required submissions
  • Lead and support safety committees, fostering a proactive safety culture
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to identify risks and drive corrective actions
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures
  • Maintain regulatory documentation including OSHA logs, training records, and incident reports
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers on workers' compensation claims and reporting

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related area of study
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing EHS role
  • Proficiency with OSHA, EPA, AQMD, SPCC, and related regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with OSHA 501, Certified Safety Professional, or Advanced Safety Certificate
  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
