We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing electrical systems and components. This includes but is not limited to, robotics, electronic components, and CAD designs.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical components and systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
2. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
3. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
4. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
5. Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
6. Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
7. Develop systems to monitor the performance of electrical equipment and systems.
8. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
9. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
10. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
4. Proficiency in CAD, blueprint, and schematic reading.
5. Extensive knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, including experience with robotics.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
11. Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) a strong plus.
