Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Applying statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
4. Implementing process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
5. Programming and troubleshooting PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Working closely with production and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient machine operation.
7. Assisting in the development and implementation of CNC programs.
8. Participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for process related concerns.
9. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Demonstrated experience with PLC, process improvement, and CNC.
4. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in CAD software.
8. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a diverse range of people.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
