Job Details:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This role involves collaborating with the fabrication team to create production plans, working closely with the team to maintain smooth operations, and planning production schedules to meet customer demands. This position will help manage materials and supply chain stability, implement quality control procedures, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and work with fabrication team implementing continuous improvement. Effective coordination with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
2. Plan and design manufacturing processes in industrial plants and manage the transition of product design and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production.
3. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
4. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
5. Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
6. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer.
7. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
8. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technologies, with a strong emphasis on CAD and statistical analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainable practices and a passion for renewable energy.
