Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our automated manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing processes and equipment. This includes the development and implementation of battery manufacturing, semiconductor, automation, and industrial automation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Design and implement innovative automated machinery solutions to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Oversee the operation of SMT, precision machinery, chip mounter, and other electrical and electronic assembly equipment.
• Develop and implement advanced battery manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering and production staff to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp-up.
• Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the manufacturing industry and integrate best practices into operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role is required, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with battery manufacturing, semiconductor, automation, industrial automation, automated machinery, SMT, precision machinery, chip mounter, and electrical and electronic assembly is required.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistical quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently.
