Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
4. Perform Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate process risks.
5. Implement corrective actions to solve problems based on the root cause analysis.
6. Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
7. Use SolidWorks to design, model, and simulate manufacturing processes and systems.
8. Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods.
9. Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
3. Proven experience with PFMEA, corrective actions, and SolidWorks.
4. Strong analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
5. Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and unpredictable environment.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
8. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
9. Demonstrated willingness to be hands-on and proactive in improving the manufacturing process.
