We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Manufacturing Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Developing and implementing process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
3. Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
4. Collaborating with design engineers to optimize product design for manufacturability.
5. Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
6. Applying various industrial engineering problem-solving and productivity techniques to evaluate the improvement of manufacturing processes.
7. Providing technical expertise and training to other team members and departments.
8. Conducting studies and proposing improvements to the overall process flow and spatial utilization based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
9. Using CAD and CAE software to create prototypes and improve manufacturing processes.
10. Overseeing the fabrication and welding processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Manufacturing Engineer position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on process improvement, fabrication, and welding.
3. Proven experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methods.
4. Strong knowledge of CAD and CAE software.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
7. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
9. Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) certification is a plus.
10. Familiarity with ISO standards for manufacturing.
