Job Details

A manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, enhance process efficiency, and drive quality improvements using lean manufacturing principles. This role involves process development, technical troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and equipment utilization.
Optimize workspace layouts, workforce planning, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
Provide technical support to production teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in launching new or updated products, including goal-setting, team training, and performance evaluation.
Work with suppliers to establish product specifications, procure materials and equipment, and ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with sales, planning, and manufacturing teams to enhance product design and production methods.
Conduct cost analyses, implement quality improvements, and increase operational efficiency.
Develop and document manufacturing methods (MOM), bills of materials (BOM), and cost estimates.
Utilize process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate technical issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Support compliance with all relevant operational and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant technical experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in advanced manufacturing processes.
Background in precision manufacturing industries, such as aerospace or industrial components.
Five years of experience preferred but not required.
