Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the rotating equipment industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, component level rework, production review, and continuous process improvement. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes that ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
  • Conducting component level rework to ensure that production processes are optimized for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Reviewing production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues, including design, quality, and supply chain issues.
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Providing technical support to production teams to ensure that products are manufactured to the required specifications.
  • Developing and managing project plans to ensure that manufacturing projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of component level rework and production review processes.
  • Proven experience in implementing continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
