Manufacturing Engineer

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, integrating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
4. Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency and productivity.
5. Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and implement new production processes.
6. Collaborate with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to resolve design, development, production, and acceptance issues.
7. Plan, organize, and lead process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing department.
8. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
9. Stay informed about the latest advancements in the manufacturing industry and adapt them to the company's operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
4. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
5. Strong knowledge of industrial engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
9. Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices.
10. Ability to work well in a team environment and also perform independently.
11. Project management skills will be a plus.
