We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to our efforts in driving process improvement and lean manufacturing principles within our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. You will leverage your expertise in Manufacturing, Work Cells, and SolidWorks to design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to our efforts in driving process improvement and lean manufacturing principles within our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. You will leverage your expertise in Manufacturing, Work Cells, and SolidWorks to design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
- Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EMP and EMI Filters is a plus
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Process Engineering.
- Expertise in Manufacturing Processes and Industrial Engineering.
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards.
