We're currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly-qualified Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Solution Architect to join our team. This position is a key role within our Engineering department, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing MES solutions that meet our business needs and align with our technology strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, IT, and engineering to ensure the successful execution of MES projects. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing growth and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement MES solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's technology strategy.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop MES solutions that meet these needs.
3. Lead the development of MES architecture and ensure its alignment with the overall IT architecture.
4. Develop and implement MES standards, best practices, and guidelines.
5. Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the MES system, and provide technical support as needed.
6. Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of MES projects.
7. Conduct training sessions to educate staff on the use of the MES system.
8. Stay current with the latest technology trends and innovations in the field of MES and recommend improvements to the system as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with SCADA, Ignition 8.1 Gold Certification, Python programming, and manufacturing domain.
4. Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, back-end computing infrastructure, networking, databases, and virtualization.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
9. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
10. Ability to stay current with the latest technology trends and innovations in the field of MES.
