We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, focused HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that plays a critical role in managing the human resources functions including processing weekly payroll, training, employee relations, new hire onboarding and orientation, and administering employee benefits. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment, making significant contributions to our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and job satisfaction.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
4. Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, ensuring employees understand their benefits and any changes made.
5. Handle HR issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and terminations, while maintaining compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
6. Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and new hire orientations.
7. Conduct regular audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documentation is collected and maintained.
8. Collaborate with management to identify company training needs and develop programs to meet these needs.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and conditions.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in managing payroll processes, including knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
3. Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering employee training programs.
4. Strong knowledge of HR documentation and record-keeping practices.
5. Experience in administering employee benefits programs.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex HR-related information to employees at all levels of the organization.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve HR issues effectively and efficiently.
8. A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
9. Professional certification in human resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
10. Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR-related software.
