Are you passionate about quality control and have a desire to mentor and develop your manufacturing quality team? We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Manager to join us. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across all our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, from system development and implementation to auditing and reporting. Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will:
1. Develop and implement quality control systems and measures across our manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors, technicians and other staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated.
3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of our quality control systems, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
5. Monitor and analyze quality performance data, preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing changes to manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
7. Handle customer complaints regarding quality, investigating issues, and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality control and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry .
2. A comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
3. A proven track record in developing and implementing effective quality control systems.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
7. A degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or ASQ are advantageous.
9. Proficiency in using quality control software and other relevant tools.
10. Strong understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AS 9100.
