Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead the quality team to develop a positive quality culture and implement standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and IATF standards through audits, validations, and process improvements.
- Investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of non-conformities.
- Train and empower production personnel on quality issues, policies, and best practices.
- Utilize SPC and statistical tools to improve quality processes and monitor KPIs.
- Supervise quality department personnel and communicate quality goals across all levels of the organization.
- Implement and maintain containment and rework procedures for non-conforming materials.
- Assist with GP-12/Safe Launch for new programs or engineering changes.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of quality tools: APQP, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with IATF, ISO, auditing, and writing SOPs is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet creation.
- Ability to travel to customer locations and work independently or as part of a team.
- LEAN/Six Sigma Greenbelt certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
