Due to growth, we are looking to add a Manufacturing Supervisor to our team! This hire is an integral part of the manufacturing process and must be competent and comprehend complex operations. Supervisors should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs. You will also be responsible for machining, fabricating, welding, assembling, or processing operations required in the production of the finished product, goods, or services of the organizational unit.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations in the manufacturing plant, ensuring all processes are running efficiently and effectively.
2. Manage and supervise a team of manufacturing staff, providing guidance and support as necessary.
3. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as required.
4. Utilize ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and managing production activities.
5. Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
6. Assist in the development of manufacturing budgets and monitor expenses to ensure operations are within budget.
7. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to boost production efficiency and reduce costs.
8. Liaise with other departments, including sales, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
9. Provide regular reports on production activities, highlighting any issues or successes.
10. Conduct regular training and development sessions for manufacturing staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest industry practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
3. Extensive knowledge in machining, fabricating, welding, and assembling.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and inventory management.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process improvements.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
10. Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
