Title: Manufacturing Technician
Compensation: $23-$24/hour (depending on experience)
Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure, weigh, and record chemicals for batch preparation.
• Follow established compounding procedures and recipes to produce high-quality products.
• Operate and monitor advanced production equipment safely and according to standard operating procedures.
• Adjust and troubleshoot melt extrusion processes to meet desired specifications and resolve production issues.
• Use technical knowledge of single and twin-screw extrusion techniques for efficient machine setup and product optimization.
• Monitor output quality, discarding or reworking products that do not meet specifications.
• Perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on extrusion equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, ensuring all equipment is properly used and maintained.

What you need for this position:

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience as a Compounding Technician.
• Strong basic math and mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions accurately.
• Good judgment and understanding to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions.
• Ability to recognize variations in product quality and follow protocols for reporting discrepancies.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining production equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
