The Marketing Associate will play a key role in the marketing team, assisting the Director of Client Services and Senior Marketing Manager in creating compelling content that communicates complex legal concepts in an accessible way. The Marketing Associate will play a key role in the marketing team, assisting the Director of Client Services and Senior Marketing Manager in creating compelling content that communicates complex legal concepts in an accessible way. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can transform intricate information into engaging, digestible content for various audiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with responses to RFPs, the RFP library project, and search the web weekly to identify RFPs from potential clients.
- Write, edit, and proofread marketing collateral, including bi-monthly newsletters, award submissions, brochures, articles, and presentations
- Manage and execute social media strategy, including content creation, posting, and calendar management
- Prepare and proofread monthly client reports with meticulous attention to detail
- Regularly update firm biographies and other marketing materials
- Maintain website content using WordPress, ensuring information is current and accurate
- Assist with special marketing projects and initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or comparable field
- 1+ years of marketing, communications, or related experience
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience with social media platforms in a professional capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline
- Team player with a positive attitude and openness to feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, or similar platforms
- Video capturing and editing skills
- Social media analytics experience
- Background in finance, legal, or education sectors
- Experience translating complex concepts into accessible content
