Job Description- Marketing Specialist/Marketing Coordinator
Purpose
The Marketing Specialist/Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and the execution of
commercial marketing business plan and associated specialties’ marketing plans at a cluster level, in alignment
with the business strategy. Partners with commercial sales team to provide required direction and support
and to ensure the commercial execution that leads to achievement of business goals. The Marketing
Specialist/Coordinator will be responsible for the management of marketing collateral and assets of the
Established products portfolio. This includes managing of the copy approval processes, updating digital
channels and organizing, maintaining & updating the team SharePoint and respective tools. As a marketing
specialist/coordinator you have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, an ability to optimize
processes, and maintain excellent organization in highly multifaceted environment. This position reports to
the Director of Marketing. Location to be hybrid, South Shore/Braintree MA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads the maintenance of marketing collateral & assets, enables and tracks the review & approval
through the internal copy approval process, pro-actively shares ideas on potential asset improvement,
works closely with graphic design agency & seeks external assets innovations
  • Organizes, maintains & updates SharePoint sites
  • Updates digital channels & associated collaterals, pro-actively research and provide ideas to improve
channel reach
  • Leads the track of specific tool updates and databases
  • Coordinates the products asset updates related to medical devices regulation (MDR)
  • Participates in team meetings, projects, helps facilitate programs and special activities that the
company promotes geared toward establishing its strategic goals.
  • Builds positive relationship with the Commercial organization to assemble customer insights, translate
needs into commercial solutions, drive and support sales execution.
  • Supports positive relationships with Key Customers, KOLs and clinical partners
  • Helps support, plan and attends society and industry conventions/events
  • Partners with Director of Marketing to develop training education strategies and activities. Supports
execution as the need arises.
  • Project manage the development of sales and marketing materials, promotional materials and
marketing and communications campaigns by liaising with creative agencies/PR and Promo material
companies
  • Handles sophisticated customer product questions and objections consistent with sales training
methodology. Supports and defines customer support objectives in collaboration with commercial
operations team.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing or project management /
experience in Medical Devices as an advantage (or is preferable); background in graphic design
preferred
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Proven experience showing attention to detail, commitment, organization, and follow through of
meaningful business activities, tasks, or projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in hard pressure environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Familiarity with basic quality tools and techniques and the ability to quickly learn systems/software.;
Analytical, critical thinking skills, organization, and time management skills are essential is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) Adobe Platform
(Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Capacity to learn new and unfamiliar applications
