Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Master Electrician, you will be instrumental in driving renewable energy initiatives forward. You will be responsible for:

1. Reading and interpreting electrical and solar PV system plans, blueprints, and NEC codes.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing PV systems, inverters, disconnects, and other renewable energy technologies.
3. Conducting regular service upgrades and system interconnections to ensure optimal performance.
4. Performing electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
5. Ensuring proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems to meet safety standards.
6. Ensuring all work complies with OSHA regulations and adheres to industry best practices.
7. Training and mentoring Journeyman electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize system designs and improve efficiency.
9. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in the renewable energy industry to inform our strategies and operations.

Qualifications:

1. A valid Master Electrician license.
2. 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry, with a focus on renewable energy systems.
3. Extensive knowledge of NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and other relevant electrical codes.
4. Proficiency in PV systems, inverters, disconnects, and other renewable energy technologies.
5. Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, grounding, and bonding.
6. Experience with service upgrades and system interconnections.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience training and mentoring electricians.
8. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
