Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Loads, unloads, and verifies paperwork of incoming and outgoing materials and products; immediately reports any discrepancies or damages
- Moves materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas; pulls and verifies materials and supplies for production and shipment needs
- Identifies and labels materials, and records their location in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
- Packages and prepares materials for shipments by identifying their location, pulling, packing, and loading them for warehouse needs
- Safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Participates in inventory count activities such as cycle counts
- Complies with all safety requirements, rules, and guidelines; reports any safety issues immediately
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; ensures inventory is in the right storage locations
- Participates and supports our companyʼs continuous improvement program; supports other tasks as assigned
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Assist with loading of heavy machinery
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
- Certification to ride forklift truck preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials (30lbs+)
