Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Material Handler, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Safely operating material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, and hand trucks to move, stage, and store materials as required.
2. Conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure all materials meet our high-quality standards.
3. Processing order documentation accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintaining an accurate inventory of all materials, ensuring all items are properly stored and easily accessible.
5. Assisting in purchasing materials and supplies as needed.
6. Coordinating with the engineering team to ensure all materials are available when needed.
7. Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
8. Regularly lifting heavy materials and equipment as part of daily duties.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Material Handler position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and hand trucks.
3. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
4. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
5. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
6. Knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures.
7. Experience in inventory management and purchasing.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
10. Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
