Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our materials management department, including inventory control, materials planning, purchasing, and scheduling.
2. Implement and manage an effective and accurate inventory management system, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production.
3. Work closely with the production and procurement teams to accurately forecast demand and ensure a steady supply of materials.
4. Use Oracle ERP system for inventory tracking, order processing, and data analysis.
5. Implement aseptic practices in the handling and storage of beverage materials.
6. Direct and manage warehouse operations to ensure efficient and safe storage of materials and finished products.
7. Develop and implement strategies for improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
8. Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on materials management performance to senior management.
10. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards related to materials management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in materials management, preferably in the beverage manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in using an ERP and other inventory management systems.
4. Extensive knowledge of labor and warehouse management.
5. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
6. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
7. Proven ability to develop and implement effective materials management strategies.
8. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision making.
9. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Strong communication and leadership skills.
