Job Details
Requirements -
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in MDOT transportation infrastructure engineering.
+ Proven track record in project management, including scope, schedule, and fee management.
+ Strong understanding of roadway and bridge design principles, construction staging, hydraulics, safety, and inspection processes.
+ Exceptional communication skills and ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
+ Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for leadership and mentoring.
Responsibilities -
Project Management (Primary Focus)
+ Lead the delivery of MDOT and local agency transportation projects from kickoff to completion.
+ Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes.
+ Coordinate staffing needs and ensure alignment of resources to project goals.
+ Conduct project progress meetings, prepare progress reports, and oversee quality reviews.
Business Development
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities.
+ Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and contracts.
+ Partner with leadership to assemble winning pursuit teams for future projects.
Leadership & Team Development
+ Mentor and guide project team members to ensure successful outcomes.
+ Participate in professional organizations to enhance industry presence.
+ Promote a collaborative and supportive team culture.
