Get ready to take your career to the next level! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that will challenge and inspire you to harness your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly and a deep understanding of blueprints and drawings. This role is critical to our operation, and you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.

Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Assembling mechanical systems and subsystems based on engineering blueprints and detailed procedures.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
3. Verifying dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
4. Inspecting, testing, and adjusting completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
5. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
6. Participating in continuous improvement activities, suggesting and implementing process improvements to increase product quality and productivity.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality control, to resolve assembly and production issues.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and engineering information.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
