Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Review and approve contract budget and billing, ensuring all financial aspects of the project are on track and within the allocated budget.
3. Provide oversight of project plans, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
4. Handle permit procurement and ensure all projects comply with relevant codes and regulations.
5. Implement and manage control systems to monitor project progress and performance.
6. Develop and maintain schedules for various operations sequences, ensuring all project milestones are met.
7. Conduct QA/QC reviews of project drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
8. Coordinate and manage mechanical and plumbing works, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
9. Maintain relationships with subcontractors, ensuring their work meets project specifications and quality standards.
10. Prepare and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in contract budgeting and billing, plan oversight, permit procurement, and control systems.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of various operations sequences and scheduling.
5. Expertise in mechanical and plumbing works.
6. Extensive experience in maintaining subcontractors.
7. Experience in preparing and responding to RFIs.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
11. Proficient in relevant software and technology.
12. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
