This individual will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of HVAC systems for our commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in mechanical design, with a focus on HVAC systems or plumbing. Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your duties will include:
1. Designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of HVAC systems for commercial projects.
2. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed design plans and blueprints.
3. Working closely with other engineers and construction professionals to ensure the successful implementation of HVAC systems.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to HVAC systems.
5. Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess the requirements for HVAC systems.
6. Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to HVAC design and installation.
7. Ensuring all HVAC systems are designed and installed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Collaborating with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
9. Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
10. Continually updating knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on HVAC systems or plumbing.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
4. Proven experience in the design and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
6. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
