We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer II to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming ideas into innovative, reliable, and efficient mechanical design solutions. As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of high-tech engineering projects, working with both analog and digital systems. Your role will be integral in shaping the future of our company and the industry as a whole.

Responsibilities:
1. Create, modify, and analyze complex mechanical designs, utilizing design software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
2. Design customized equipment and systems for various applications, ensuring that they meet project requirements and standards.
3. Conduct research and development activities to enhance current designs and to create innovative design solutions.
4. Develop 3D models and 2D drawings, including BOMs, for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
5. Calculate deflections, stresses, and strains associated with mechanical design, using a variety of engineering principles and techniques.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet the required specifications and are within budget and schedule constraints.
7. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure that design goals are met and to present design solutions.
8. Continually update technical knowledge and skills, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
3. Proven experience with design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
4. Demonstrated experience in designing customized equipment and systems.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
6. Proficiency in creating 3D models and 2D drawings, including BOMs.
7. Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate deflections, stresses, and strains.
8. Strong research and development skills, with a knack for innovative thinking.
9. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex design solutions in a clear and concise manner.
10. Must be mechanically inclined, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
11. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with a diverse range of professionals.
12. Must be proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet tight deadlines.
