We are on the hunt for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our engineering department, primarily focusing on the design and development of mechanical systems, conveyor layouts, and tooling design. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our cutting-edge projects, creating functional design documentation (FDD), 3D models, and prototypes. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including conveyor layouts and tooling design using CAD software.
• Develop and produce comprehensive functional design documentation (FDD) for all projects.
• Create and modify 3D models and detailed drawings for mechanical equipment, sub-assemblies, and product structures.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to design and develop prototypes.
• Test and validate prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team during the production process.
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
• Continuously stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on conveyor layouts, tooling design, and prototype development.
• Proficient in CAD software and 3D modeling.
• Strong experience in creating functional design documentation (FDD).
• Proven track record in prototype development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
