Mechanical Designer III

We are a company driven by solutions, dedicated to creating and delivering advanced products for safeguarding ESP cables in unconventional well environments.

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Make revisions and maintain existing 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Clone or revise drawings based on sketches and verbal instructions.
• Work on special projects, as required to support design and drafting requirements.
• Perform dimensional fit checks.
• Create Layouts, drawings, charts, graphs, or diagrams based on information provided by engineering and operational staff.
• Interface with the manufacturing team to ensure that drawings reflect design for manufacturing best practices.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in a science or technical discipline from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of experience in the O&G industry working in component design, including specification of design requirements, design development support
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning & tolerance)
• Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
• Experience with SolidWorks Admin a plus
