Job Details

Join a respected mechanical contracting firm with decades of experience in industrial fabrication, piping, and HVAC systems. As a Mechanical Drafter, you’ll play a key role in supporting engineering and project teams by producing accurate technical drawings and documentation for fabrication and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop fabrication and installation plans.
Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and field notes to produce accurate shop drawings.
Revise and update drawings based on project changes, field conditions, and feedback.
Assist in preparing documentation for pressure vessels, piping systems, and sheet metal components.
Maintain organized drawing files and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry codes.

Qualifications:

Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, mechanical design, or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); experience with Tekla or similar software is a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and industrial materials.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
