Our client in Jacksonville is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Automotive Manufacturing industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing automotive parts and systems. You will work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Design and develop automotive parts and systems using SolidWorks and Draftsight software
- Conduct testing and analysis of automotive components to ensure they meet industry standards
- Collaborate with other engineers and production teams to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product design and manufacturing processes
- Participate in product development meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, Draftsight, and SolidWorks PDM software
- Experience designing and developing automotive parts and systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive manufacturing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
