Job Details
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in HVAC with a PE or EIT Certification. They should be proficient in Revit, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics for commercial projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, overtime, and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial buildings, including hybrid systems that incorporate renewable energy sources.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and energy audits to determine the most efficient and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
- Prepare detailed specifications, drawings, and calculations for HVAC systems.
- Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment for HVAC systems.
- Ensure that HVAC systems comply with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems.
- Provide technical support to contractors and other stakeholders during the construction process.
- Conduct site visits to assess the performance of HVAC systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or EIT preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC.
- Proficiency in Revit, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, AutoCAD, plumbing, and commercial construction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC systems and renewable energy sources.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
