We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Construction to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems in the Engineering industry. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, and a P.E. license is a must. Responsibilities
1. Design and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, focusing on MEP.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
3. Conduct detailed analysis of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Develop and review specifications, drawings, and technical documents related to mechanical systems.
5. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
6. Ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Troubleshoot and solve problems related to mechanical systems.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
9. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on the progress of mechanical systems.
10. Continually stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the MEP construction industry.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A valid P.E. (Professional Engineer) license.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP construction, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.
4. Proficient in using CAD software for designing mechanical systems.
5. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
10. A strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
