Join a manufacturing team where your engineering expertise will turn ambitious ideas into high-performing machinery and reliable production systems. This permanent opportunity is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience who enjoys solving complex challenges, developing practical designs, and seeing projects move from concept to the manufacturing floor.

You’ll apply your experience in Machine Design, Hydronic Systems, and CAD/CAM—or equivalent technologies—to improve equipment performance, strengthen manufacturing capabilities, and deliver safe, efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical equipment, machinery, and assemblies for manufacturing applications.
  • Engineer and optimize hydronic systems, including piping, pumps, valves, and associated components, to meet performance and operational requirements.
  • Create and maintain 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation using CAD/CAM tools.
  • Perform engineering calculations, component selection, tolerance analysis, and design reviews to ensure reliable, manufacturable solutions.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and procurement teams to take designs from concept through fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Support prototype development, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve energy efficiency, increase equipment reliability, and simplify manufacturing processes.
  • Work with suppliers and fabricators to evaluate components, resolve technical issues, and support timely project delivery.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing or a closely related industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Machine Design, Hydronic Systems, and CAD/CAM, or equivalent skills and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, fabrication methods, machining processes, and design for manufacturability.
  • Ability to assess hydronic system requirements, select appropriate components, and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Proficiency in producing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical calculations.
  • Practical experience supporting equipment builds, testing, installation, or production improvements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to safe, high-quality engineering.
