We are seeking a dynamic and experienced, licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing mechanical devices, including tools, engines, and machines. You will be working on commercial and industrial projects, utilizing your skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.
2. Conduct research to solve complex engineering problems and improve product designs.
3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
4. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
5. Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
6. Test and evaluate prototypes of your designs.
7. Use CAD, BIM, and other relevant software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
8. Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs.
9. Supervise the manufacturing process of your designs.
10. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal team members.
11. Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
12. Provide technical advice to team members and clients.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with CAD, BIM, and other engineering design software.
4. Experience working on commercial and industrial projects.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
6. Able to work and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Strong understanding of mechanical design, physics, microprocessors, and material science.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
12. Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
13. Excellent project management skills.
