Job Details

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our growing team. This is a permanent role that offers immense opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of our mechanical engineering operations, including mechanical design, pipeline hydraulics, KPI's, and reliability. With your expertise, you will be instrumental in driving our projects to success, ensuring that our engineering solutions are not only innovative but also reliable, efficient, and sustainable. Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing the mechanical engineering team to ensure the effective execution of projects.
2. Overseeing the development and implementation of mechanical designs, ensuring that they meet project requirements and standards.
3. Managing pipeline hydraulics, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
4. Developing and monitoring KPI's to measure the performance and effectiveness of the mechanical engineering team.
5. Ensuring the reliability of our engineering solutions, implementing strategies to improve performance and reduce downtime.
6. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
7. Providing technical guidance and support to the mechanical engineering team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Keeping abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering and the energy industry, implementing innovative strategies and technologies where appropriate.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechanical engineering management role, preferably in the energy industry.
3. Proven experience in mechanical design and pipeline hydraulics.
4. Strong knowledge of KPI's and their application in performance measurement and management.
5. Demonstrated ability to ensure the reliability of engineering solutions.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive teams to success.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
10. Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies.
11. Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
