We are seeking an experienced Permanent Mechanical Equipment Engineer for an exciting opportunity within our Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in hydraulics to make a significant impact on our operations and overall business success. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. This role demands a dynamic professional who is proficient in hydraulic systems and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery applying knowledge of engineering principles.
2. Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
3. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
4. Direct and coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
5. Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.
6. Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification.
7. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
8. Expertise in hydraulic systems including the ability to design, analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot.
9. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, production, design, and quality to ensure effective project execution and product performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven expertise in hydraulic systems, including design, analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Profound knowledge of engineering principles and concepts.
5. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
8. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent collaboration skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
