We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Plumbing Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical and plumbing projects, from design through completion, ensuring that work is done on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of mechanical and plumbing projects, from initial design through completion.
2. Coordinate and manage project teams, including contractors, engineers, and other professionals.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that work is done on time and within budget.
4. Review and approve project designs and plans, ensuring that they meet all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
5. Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
6. Perform site inspections to ensure that work is being done to the highest standards of quality.
7. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments to keep projects within budget.
8. Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the course of a project, taking corrective action as necessary.
9. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
10. Continually monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards, applying this knowledge to the design and execution of projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing project management, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
4. Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and standards.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work within budget constraints.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant technology.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and make decisions quickly and effectively.
9. A commitment to quality, with a focus on ensuring that work is done to the highest standards.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
