We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This role requires a highly organized and proactive professional who can seamlessly manage all aspects of mechanical projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Review and approve project designs and deliverables.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation to maintain project control and transparency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and familiarity with other construction management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent negotiation, team leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.
  • Detail-oriented and able to oversee projects from inception to successful completion.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
  • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience.
  • Comfortable working with multiple groups within the business.
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
