We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our family medicine clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled medical professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. As a Medical Assistant, you will have the chance to work closely with our team of experienced physicians and healthcare professionals, providing crucial support and assistance. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Assisting physicians during medical examinations and procedures.
2. Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens and performing basic laboratory tests.
3. Taking patient histories and vital signs.
4. Administering medications and injections as directed by a physician.
5. Preparing patients for examinations and treatments.
6. Maintaining patient records and ensuring their confidentiality.
7. Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow.
8. Performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Certified Medical Assistant.
2. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
3. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA).
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical staff.
5. Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform a variety of medical procedures and tests.
6. Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records.
7. Ability to handle a high level of responsibility and prioritize tasks efficiently.
8. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Current CPR certification.
10. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
