We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team in the medical industry. This is an onsite opportunity at multiple locations with a sign-on bonus! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical field and possess a strong skillset in medical terminology, charting, EMR, EHR, medical authorizations, and CMA.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses in the examination and treatment of patients
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with patients regarding test results, medication instructions, and other medical information
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
• Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, charting, EMR, EHR, and medical authorizations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
