Job Details

What You’ll Be Doing

Guide patient flow: greet, room, and prepare patients; set expectations on wait times; take vitals & histories and document chief complaints in the EHR.
Clinical support: assist providers during exams and minor procedures; perform venipuncture, collect/prepare lab specimens; run basic tests (e.g., EKG, eye tests) within scope.
Sterility & readiness: clean, stock, and sterilize instruments; ensure exam rooms are organized and ready.
Documentation & privacy: complete accurate EHR notes and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.

Skills You Need

Experience: 2–4 years in a medical office; prior Medical Assistant experience required.
Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
Clinical competencies: Phlebotomy/venipuncture, EKG, specimen handling, vitals, infection control, instrument sterilization.
Communication: Excellent verbal/written skills; collaborative, patient‑first mindset.
