We are on the hunt for a passionate, experienced, and highly-skilled Medical Gas/ Plumbing Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of medical gas projects from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on risk management.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all stages of projects, including planning, design, construction, and completion.
2. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
3. Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
4. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
5. Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
6. Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to project plans as required.
7. Coordinating and supervising construction workers and subcontractors.
8. Ensuring the quality of work and materials meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.
9. Resolving any project-related issues promptly and professionally.
10. Continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Project Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on medical gas systems.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Proven experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
